Vinyasa Yoga

In this class we’ll practice vinyasa in its simplest sense: a flowing sequence of poses guided by the breath.  We’ll warm up with sun salutations and move through a variety of static and gently flowing positions before finding our way to meditation and savasana (rest pose).  As we work through new sequences each week, the focus on breath, coordination, and alignment remain constant. 
Just as importantly, a lighthearted but focused approach to our bodies keeps the practice „flowing“ both inside and out.  The Indian sage Patanjali said it best: „sthira sukham asanam (poses should be steady and joyful)“. With this simple motto we can maintain our grounding and greet new challenges with a smile!
These classes are suitable for practitioners of all levels, though a previous knowledge of Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Anusara, other Vinyasa Yoga styles is an advantage.  Above all, practice safely; your own judgement remains your most trustworthy companion in exploring each pose.
